Removing and refitting the engine flywheel
Removal
1 . Split the tractor between the engine and the gearbox (see Section 2B01 ).
2. Immobilize the engine flywheel.
3. According to the version, remove the shock absorbed or the connecting plate (see Part A or D).
4. Remove the flywheel.
Refitting
5. Check the parts and replace any that are faulty.
6. Screw two guide studs in diametrically opposite positions in the flywheel attachment holes on the crankshaft.
7. Refit the engine flywheel.
8. Remove the guide studs. Tighten the bolts to a torque of between 120 and 160 Nm (89-118 ft.lbs.) (Loctite 270).
9. Refit the shock absorbed or the connecting plate.
10. Recouple the tractor between the engine and the gearbox (see Section 2B01 ).
