ADJUSTING FUEL INJECTION TIMING BY DELIVERY CHECK
1. Turn crankshaft back 30 – 4 0° from top dead center.
2. Rotate crankshaft to align "I.J." line on crankshaft pulley and pointer correctly.
3. Loosen nut (7) in oblong hole of mounting flange of fuel injection pump.
4. Operating priming pump (8), and rotate coupling of injection pump side slightly, then stop coupling at point where fuel flows out from delivery valve holder.
5. Tighten nut (7) in oblong hole of mounting flange of fuel injection pump. * After tightening the nuts, check again that the fuel stops flowing from the delivery valve holder at the point where the pointer is aligned with the line on the crankshaft pulley.
6. Remove delivery valve holder (2), assemble delivery valve (3) and spring (4), then install delivery valve holder (2) again.
Delivery holder: 3.3 ± 0.2 kgm
7. Connect fuel injection pipe (1).
Sleeve nut: 2.4 ± 0.1 kgm
