Description
This Component Technical Manual contains service information and a description of the assembly and method of operation of the following front wheel drive axles:
· AS Series
AS-2025, AS-2035, AS-2035N1, AS-2045 and AS-2060
in Groups 05 to 20 and 200.
· MS Series
MS-2025, MS-2035 and MS-2045 in Groups 05 to 20 and 200.
NOTE: AS and MS series front wheel drive axles are of the same design. A repair may be conducted with the manual for the relevant AS series axles (without TLS).
Triple Link Suspension (TLS) is dealt with NOT in this Component Technical Manual but in the Technical Manuals of the relevant tractor types.
The FWD axle type plate on AS-2025, AS-2035 AS-2035N and AS-2045 is located on the right-hand side of the axle housing, whereas on AS-2060 it is located on the left-hand side of the axle housing. The FWD axle type plate on AS-2045 with TLS is located on the center axle housing. Refer to the axle type shown on the plate to identify repair information in the Component Technical Manual.
