Manual Extract: Link between rear flange and spindle
1. Fit the O-rings (32) and (33) (2 pieces) into the O-ring grooves in spindle (2).
NOTE: when fitting the O-rings (32) and (33), do not apply grease to them.If they are reassembled with grease applied, the grease may ooze from the mating surface between rear flange (301) and spindle (2) while the travel motor is running. This may be mistaken for oil leakage; therefore, do not apply any grease.
2. Put 1.0 L (0.26 US gal) of hydraulic fluid in the spindle (2).
3. Aligning the parallel pins (34) (2 pieces) inserted in the spindle (2) with the pin holes in rear flange (301), fit the rear flange (301) into the spindle (2).
4. Temporarily tighten the hexagon socket head bolts (343) (10 pieces) to the spindle (2) with a hexagon wrench.
NOTE: make sure the hexagon socket head bolts (343) (10 pieces) are tightened evenly so that the rear flange may not be inclined, because the internal springs (113) will make it float gradually from the mating surface.
