Manual Extract: Relief valve Pressure setting
1. Remove the hex cap (3) and the spring (5) from the top of the circuit relief valve.
2. Remove the plunger (2) and inspect for damaged or worn parts or seals. Repair as necessary.
3. Add shims (4) to the plunger to increase the pressure setting. Remove shims (4) from the plunger to decrease the pressure setting. Each shim is 0.254 mm (0.010 in) thick and will change the pressure setting by 3.4 10.3
bar (50 150
psi).
4. Install the spring (5) and the hex cap (3) on the circuit relief valve.
5. Install the circuit relief valve into the equipment control valve and refer to Relief valve Pressure test
(A.12.A) to check the pressure setting.
6. Adjust the circuit relief valve again if necessary.
7. When the pressure setting is correct, remove the hand pump and connect the hydraulic line.
