Manual Extract Brake Relief Valve Pressure Test
1. Lower the bucket to the floor.
2. Apply the parking brake and stop the engine.
3. Connect the vacuum pump to the hydraulic reservoir.
Start the vacuum pump.
4. Disconnect the hose from the fitting in the brake section of the hydraulic pump.
5. Connect the tee fitting to the fitting in the brake section of the hydraulic pump.
6. Connect the hose to the tee fitting.
7. Connect the pressure gauge to the tee fitting.
8. Stop the vacuum pump.
9. Start and run engine at full throttle. Heat the oil to operating temperature.
1 O. Push down on a brake pedal as far as possible.
11. Read the pressure gauge. The pressure gauge must be 1650 to 1750 psi (11 377 to 12 066 kPa, 113.8 to 120.7 bar).
12. If the pressure is not correct, adjust the brake relief valve.
