The capscrews that are used are thread forming and can be reused if the shift bar housing is replaced.\u003cbr\u003eIt may be necessary to support the yoke bars in position while installing the retainers.\u003cbr\u003e1. Install interlock balls, detent balls and springs in the following sequence;\u003cbr\u003eA. Position (3) balls in the reverse light switch bore.\u003cbr\u003eB. Install reverse detent spring and ball.\u003cbr\u003eC. Position (2) balls in adjacent cross bore.\u003cbr\u003eD. Repeat steps B and C for 1st-2nd position, 3rd-4th position, and 5th-6th position.\u003cbr\u003eNOTE: Balls and springs can be used interchangeably.\u003cbr\u003e2.
