High Pressure Switch – Located in the discharge hose into the condenser.\u003cbr\u003e2. Low Pressure Switch – Located in the outlet hose into the expansion valve.\u003cbr\u003eThe method used to remove and install the switches is the same for each switch. It is not necessary to discharge the air conditioner system.\u003cbr\u003eBefore Servicing the Condenser, carry out the following: • Park the tractor on hard level ground and apply the parking brake.\u003cbr\u003e• Stop the engine and remove the key.\u003cbr\u003e• Put blocks in front of and behind the rear wheels.\u003cbr\u003e• For the High Pressure Switch raise the hood.\u003cbr\u003e• For the Low Pressure Switch, raise and tilt the cab roof, refer to Section 9006.\u003cbr\u003eSTEP 1\u003cbr\u003eGain access to the high pressure switch (1) or low pressure switch (2) as required.\u003cbr\u003eSTEP 2\u003cbr\u003eDisconnect the switch connector from the harness and remove the switch from the tube fitting.\u003cbr\u003eNOTE: A small amount o f refrigerant will leak from the Schrader valve in the tube when removing the pressure switch.\u003cbr\u003eSTEP 3\u003cbr\u003eUse the VIR core tool from the compressor service tool kit CAS10747A to check and tighten the Schrader valve in the tube switch fitting.\u003cbr\u003eIMPORTANT: DO NOT remove the Schrader valve from the tube fitting when the system is charged.\u003cbr\u003eSTEP 4\u003cbr\u003eInstall a new o-ring onto the pressure switch fitting.\u003cbr\u003eLubricate the threads of the switch and o-ring with clean mineral oil. Install and tighten the pressure switch.\u003cbr\u003eSTEP 5\u003cbr\u003eStart and run the engine at 1500 rpm. Set the air conditioner controls to maximum cooling and run for 15 minutes. STOP the engine.
