Then turn the surface again to the specified size and polish it very carefully.\u003cbr\u003eAnother method of salvaging the fan drive pulley hub is to turn the surface down in diameter and shrink on a steel sleeve. Finish the outside diameter to the original specification and carefully polish it.\u003cbr\u003eIf this is done, make certain there are no rough edges left to damage the seal during assembly.
