The brakes are integrated into the front of the hydraulic motors which are mounted to the chain tanks on the chassis.\u003cbr\u003eThe brakes are activated by depressing the brake switch on the left hand control lever. This action causes the brakes to engage and the transmission control to go to neutral. This prevents the drive sprocket from turning and the machine from moving. The park brake indicator illuminates on the left control panel. Depressing the brake switch again will release the brakes.\u003cbr\u003ePower to release the brakes is supplied by charge pressure from the tandem pump to the brake and travel solenoid valve, located on the right side of the machine.
