Slam the final door and the resulting back pressure will dislodge most of the loose dirt from the underside of the filters.\u003cbr\u003e1. CAUTION\u003cbr\u003eEye injury hazard!\u003cbr\u003eWear protective goggles when using compressed air.\u003cbr\u003eFailure to comply could result in minor or moderate injury.\u003cbr\u003eRemove the filter elements. The fresh air filters, Figure 1 (Deluxe cab), Figure 2 (low profile cab) have a prefilter element fitted that is designed to catch most of the dust\/chaff. This prefilter is part of the filter and should be pulled out from the underside and cleaned first, then pushed back in.\u003cbr\u003eThe recirculation filter, Figure 3, is fitted with a pull tab. This should be used to remove the filter. The filter pleats should never be used to remove the filter as damage will result.\u003cbr\u003eBlow the dust from the upper surface through the element to the underside. Clean by blowing with compressed air not exceeding 2 bar (29 psi). Hold the nozzle at least 30 cm (12 in) from the element to prevent damage to the pleats.\u003cbr\u003eCare should be taken when using compressed air as this may damage to the filter.\u003cbr\u003e2.
